Anger & Stress Management
The Anger/Stress program is based on the H.E.L.P. (Healthy Emotions, Loving Parents) Toolbox.
We all have times when we experience stress and feel angry and frustrated. This program helps you learn how to cope in positive ways with stressful situations and angry feelings, so you don't express anger inappropriately to your child.
The program uses activities, role-playing, movies, group discussions and fun activities such as crafts to teach these important skills.
The program is offered once a week for 20 weeks. There are five parts that run 4 weeks each. Participants are asked to commit to each part. Once a part has started, the group will be closed but you will get a chance to join the next part when it begins.
The five parts are:
- Anger
- Self-confidence
- Coping
- Parenting
- Stress
